Finally..its done. I think I have procrasinate long enough and decided to finish it despite my coming exams which is tomorrow, since I felt guilty for delaying while my friend was so patiently waiting!

December is coming, and everywhere, people are busy preparing and celebrating the holiday season.

But in the midst of that, somewhere out there in Payatas, children are struggling to earn a living, trying to survive. The poverty they are in, it is simply heart wrenching.

I am talking about the situation in Payatas.

I'll emphasis more on this and why I am highlighting it.

So don't be so ignorant as to skip this post and think..." This is boring."

This is to appeal to you guys to help create better awareness to the plight of the children and and for those who can support, do give support and donate as we are raising donation for christmas.

Payatas, located located in the suburbs of Manila, Philippines, is called Smoking Valley. the biggest garbage dump in the Phillipines and one of the three biggest slums in the world.

Can you see tons of rubbish lying around?

I couldn't imagine myself living there, let alone children who are so much younger than me, climbing the moutains just to work and the earning of a child is not even enough to buy food. They collect materials from the dumps to sell, working daily in order to survive. In such a dump, children as young as four years old scavenge from early morning till late at night in order to help the ends meet.

And not to mention, the dangerous situation they were in. When there's bad weather condition, there's a very high possiblilty of landslides, which can crushed and buried over a hundred shacks belonging to scavenger families.

The Smoking Valley has grown to become a stark and heart-tugging reminder of the desperate conditions of humanity.

Because of that, Totedaddy.com is working with Lighthouse Center For Children Foundation to bring a little cheer to the children this Christmas.

Totedaddy has kicked off with a cash sponsorship of USD 10,000 to enable the children to celebrate Christmas. FusionExcel International has also pitched in a USD 5,000 in cash sponsorship. The money raised will help fund the projects already in place, and help fund additional projects aimed at providing better housing, and a means of livelihood for the Payatas community.

Another update on the commission I have been working on:

At first it makes me a little nervous as I never tried drawing a boy, excluding the first time i tried my hand on drawing a boy and it doesnt turn out well. But so far, I am satisfied with it, and the person who requested also like it. I just show it to her yesterday.

Right now, I am still rushing with my cardmaking. I just hope I can finished it before 4th december.

I'll stop here. I am pretty tired.

I dunno..I have been nodding off in lectures lately.

I'm off to study for my clinical Laboratory quiz which is tomorrow!

And finally my judging day is over today. You never know how much stress my group and I were in and how much relieved I am when it is finally over.

YES. FINALLY OVER.

So I will now have a blissful sleep tonight.

 Before I start worrying and mugging for my coming term tests which is in 2 weeks' time  and I havent touch my revision!

Why cant I have holidays like everyone else in nov and december?

I have gotten a christmas card from Katy yesterday night and boy! I love it!

It is so pretty and my favourite colours, purple and silver is there.

My card to her is still on the way, since we agree to do a christmas card swap. Yoo hoo! I never knew christmas card swap can be so fun.!

Christmas' coming and you notice I have countdown christmas tree in my blog, plus blog candy! Such a pity my exams have to fall on december, where people are busy shopping for christmas stuffs and making cards!

Anyway, here's my christmas wish list I am hoping to save up for :

Crafty Christmas Wish List:

1) Die Cut machine.I so desperately want to try my hand on that. Save my time cutting.

2)MORE Clear stamps. Well..i just love stamping!

3) White embossing powder. I need to have one.=P

4)black and white StazOn ink pad.But I couldn't find it. Not even in Artfriend. =(

5) Scallop punch. Cos my scallop scissor isnt that big for me. XD

6) Embllishments. Sparkling Embllishment!

7)Heat and stick Powder.And again, I couldn't find it in Artfriend. What's happening to singapore?

My non crafty christmas list:

1) Another cupboard with loads of drawers. Such a pity my room is so small.

2) Another pair of jeans. BLACK.

3) Tops. Lots and lots of tops. And BLACK as well. XD

4) Digital Camera. And I want...

 Canon EOS 50D!

My camera's (more of mum's, but she passed it to me and i kept it instead ) focus isn't good when in non flash mode as compared to using it when it was brand new.

And I heard of Canon EoS 50D for having outstanding speed and resolution (15.1 Megapixel!!!) , and the photographs that Kristina took of her cards and stuffs...it's so clear and everything!  *drool* 

5) A pair of dark purple or red spectacle.Half Frame. Sigh.

6) Digital hearing aids. It sucks having analog hearing aids. You know..those digital hearing aids that is totally in the ear. Bionic ear. hahaha! And again, my parents said they may buy for me after I graduate next year. hopefully *fingers crossed*

7) And I want a TATTOO on my wrist and side of my neck. My mum gonna kill me if she knows. hahaha!

 I am moaning about the fate of my biostatistic quiz.

10 % weightage is too much ok!

All those probability, upper quartile, lower quartile, variance , plotting dot plot and misplacing np/100 with the upper quartile....I am going crazy.

Come on....tell me. Who really got nothing better to do other than to calculate the probability of people having four girls and four boys,or the probability that one red rose is picked from one of the 3 random garden plot.?

And got people bored enough to calculate on what is the probability of planting 3 cypresses trees which are identical onto 9 holes?

Or the probability that one has the disease given that the test is negative, or the one that does not have the disease given that the test is positive?

Or the probability of people going insane studying statistics or the probability of people cursing under their breath when they cannot find the probability of the question they are stuck in.

 People who become biostatistians or take any career that involves statistics and predicting the future stocks...I can just bow down to them for being sane.

so....

What is the probability of me passing with FLYING COLOURS

 for my biostatistic quiz?

The answer is ZERO. That's the one I can get it correct.

...and I said FLYING COLOURS. So I think I can pass...but just barely. Oh well.
